Liederkranz Group Boosts G.I. Stadium
Grand Island, Neb. (Special) - Although the campaign to raise 100 thousand dollars for Grand Island High School’s Memorial Stadium will not be officially launched until next Monday, a five thousand dollar gift from the Liederkranz Society has boosted the pre-campaign total to 17 thousand dollars.
The Grand Island post of the American Legion is directing the campaign, with voluntary assistance from four service clubs - the Rotary, Lions, Cosmopolitan and Kiwanis. E.G. Schaumberg, Lincoln architect, has completed drawings of the stadium.
