Liederkranz Four Sing for Retailers

The Liederkranz quartet of Grand Island was here yesterday singing for the Federation of Nebraska Retailers at the Hotel Fontenelle. Grand Island jobbers are sponsoring the appearance.

The quartet, first organized in 1913, out of the Liederkranz Singing society, includes as members A.A. Roeser, first tenor; George Heyde, second tenor; Harry Paulsen, first bass; and Harold Menck, second bass. Herman Krall is pianist and director.

Menck, postmaster of Grand Island, as a member of the Eighty-eighth division entertained President Wilson when he visited Paris. The quartet has been the bit of many a Nebraska assembly.
