Thieves Set Fire During Burglary
Grand Island, Neb. (UPI) - Thieves, using an acetylene torch to open a vault in a private club here Thursday morning, set the office on fire filling the building with smoke.
Firemen found the torch burning in the office of the club, the Liederkranz, about 6:45 a.m.
Police said two cigarette machines were broken into and an empty cash box was found. No estimate of damage had been made.
