Grand Island Liederkranz
Grand Island, Neb., Aug. 9 - [Special] - The Grand Island Liederkranz society went by special train to Dannebrog this morning, for a day’s enjoyment in the beautiful grove there. There were fully 150 people, among them some of the most prominent German singers. They were accompanied by Prof. Bortling’s full cornet band in full uniform, and marched to the depot with the society’s banner floating.
